ABOUT
Sam and Saah is a dramatic web series about a middle aged woman who explores an unconventional relationship with a younger man. Hailing from different backgrounds and life experiences, Sam and Saah are both trying to rebuild their lives after suffering personal losses when they meet. Apprehensive yet vulnerable to the idea of new love, their unexpected, budding interest in each other spark visceral reactions from the people they care about most, which makes them question the validity of their feelings. In the end, will
Sam and Saah choose to love as they please or will they conform and love as society has prescribed?
Season 1 consists of eight (8) episodes averaging 10 - 15 minutes each. The series will be shot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Melissa De Leon | Producer
is an independent filmmaker based in the East Coast who earned a degree in Film and Media Arts from Temple University and began producing in 2010. She has produced 7 projects to date, including Therapy, which won The Viewers’ Choice Award from Xfinity OnDemand, won an Honorable Mention from Bucks Fever FilmFest, and won Best Actress in a Narrative Short from WideScreen Film & Music Video Festival.
Chike Nwabukwu | Writer, Producer
is a filmmaker, educator, and entrepreneur creating work that engages and empowers underrepresented communities. He has written, produced, and directed numerous short films, documentaries, and online content, including Baby Steps, which won Honorable Mention at Bucks Fever Film Festival and an Official Selection at the AfryKamera Film Festival in Poland. He is also an actor who has performed Off-Off Broadway and in his own films to critical acclaim.
Danaé Latrice | Associate Producer
is a filmmaker and screenwriter. She is currently pursuing her degree at Temple University majoring in Film and Media studies with a minor in Business.
Noel Quiles | Production Assistant
is a graphic/web designer and multimedia artist based in central New Jersey. For years he's studied and implemented design as a discipline, earning degrees at both MCCC and TCNJ in the field of interactive multimedia. Noel has been doing sound work as well as PA work for local independent film projects, but mostly has worked with sound.
Ebele Chizea | Producer
is a graduate from a liberal arts college with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy and minor in Art. Since then she's functioned as a Writer, Editor, and Fundraiser for numerous publications and projects, both local and international. She is also the Development Assistant for Zikora Productions.
